It has become a cliché, but “keep it simple, stupid!”
And one way to develop (and practice) those simple messages can be to coach a wide variety of players, younger & older, and keep testing out those messages.
If they work with 3 year olds & 63 year olds (my widest ever age-range in a single weekend), they’ll probably work with anyone!
